  • 1 large loaf frozen bread dough (or thawed refrigerated dough)
  • 1 cup marinara sauce
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup pepperoni slices
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter (melted)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese (Optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Roll dough into a 12×9 inch rectangle and place on the baking sheet.
  3. Spread marinara sauce over the dough, leaving a small border around the edges.
  4. Sprinkle half the mozzarella cheese, then layer pepperoni slices, followed by remaining cheese.
  5. Fold dough over the filling to seal, pressing edges firmly to prevent leaks.
  6. Brush top with melted butter mixed with garlic powder and Italian seasoning.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown and cheese is bubbly.
  8. Cool for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
