- 24 oz jar marinara sauce
- 1 cup water
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/3 cup grated parmesan cheese
- Fresh basil leaves for garnish (Optional)
Instructions
- Pour marinara sauce and water into the slow cooker; stir in oregano, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Add frozen meatballs to the sauce, pushing them down so they are partially submerged.
- Cover and cook on Low for 4 to 5 hours until meatballs are hot and sauce is bubbling.
- Turn off heat, sprinkle with mozzarella and parmesan cheese, and let sit covered for 5-10 minutes to melt.
- Garnish with fresh basil and serve hot over pasta or with bread.
