  • 1 cup vegetable broth
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Instructions

  1. Brown sausages in olive oil if desired; slice peppers and onions.
  2. Layer peppers and onions in the slow cooker, then place sausages on top.
  3. Whisk tomatoes, paste, broth, garlic, herbs, and spices; pour over ingredients.
  4. Cover and cook on Low for 6-7 hours or High for 3-4 hours.
  5. Check internal temperature (160°F); adjust seasoning and serve.
