- 4 large russet potatoes (peeled and cut into even chunks)
- ½ cup whole milk (warmed)
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter (cubed)
- 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley (chopped)
Instructions
- Boil potatoes until tender, drain, and mash with warm milk and butter.
- Sauté onions, carrots, and garlic, then brown the ground beef.
- Stir in flour, broth, and seasonings to create a thick filling.
- Layer filling in a baking dish, top with mashed potatoes and cheese.
- Bake at 400°F for 25-30 minutes until golden and bubbly.
