- 1 pound elbow macaroni or small shell pasta
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 cup pepperoni slices
- 1 jar marinara sauce ((24 oz / 680g))
- 1 cup water ((240ml))
- 3 cups shredded mozzarella cheese ((340g))
- 1 cup shredded provolone cheese ((100g))
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and black pepper (to taste)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil (Optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and boil macaroni until al dente; drain.
- Brown ground beef in a skillet over medium-high heat; drain excess fat.
- Add marinara sauce, seasonings, and water to the meat; simmer briefly.
- Mix pasta with sauce, transfer to a greased 9×13-inch dish, top with cheeses and pepperoni.
- Bake uncovered for 20-25 minutes until bubbly and golden; rest 5 minutes before serving.
