Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 pieces frozen waffles (plain or buttermilk)
  • 1 lb ground beef (80/20 blend recommended)
  • 4 slices American or Cheddar cheese
  • 4 strips thick-cut bacon
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 1/4 cup yellow mustard
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 4 pieces hamburger buns (optional, if using waffles as half-buns)
  • 4 pieces frozen waffles
  • 1 lb boneless skinless chicken breasts (pounded to 1/2-inch thickness)
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 pieces eggs (beaten)
  • 1 cup Italian-seasoned breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 jar marinara sauce (24 oz)
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper (to taste)
  • Fresh basil leaves (for garnish)
  • 4 pieces frozen waffles
  • 1.5 lbs boneless skinless chicken thighs
  • 1 cup barbecue sauce (divided)
  • 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 cup prepared coleslaw mix
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • Salt and pepper (to taste)
  • 4 pieces frozen waffles
  • 8 oz deli ham slices
  • 4 slices Swiss cheese
  • 1 large yellow onion (thinly sliced)
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper (to taste)
  • 4 pieces frozen waffles
  • 1 lb ground beef (85/15 lean)
  • 8 slices American cheese (or Cheddar)
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup pickle relish
  • 1/4 cup diced red onion
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 1/4 cup mustard

Instructions

  1. Cook 4 strips of thick-cut bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crisp (6-8 minutes); drain on paper towels leaving 1 tbsp grease. Divide 1 lb ground beef into four patties, season with salt and pepper, and cook in the bacon grease for 4 minutes per side; add 4 slices of cheese during the last minute to melt. Toast 4 frozen waffles at 375°F (190°C) until golden (3-4 minutes). Whisk together 1/4 cup ketchup, 1/4 cup mustard, and 1/4 cup mayonnaise. Assemble by spreading sauce on the bottom waffle, adding the patty, topping with crumbled bacon, and capping with the top waffle.
  2. Set up bowls with 1 cup flour (seasoned), 2 beaten eggs, and 1 cup breadcrumbs mixed with 1/2 cup Parmesan. Dredge 1 lb pounded chicken breasts in flour, egg, then breadcrumbs. Heat 2 tbsp olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and cook chicken 3-4 minutes per side until internal temperature reaches 165°F. Spread marinara sauce over chicken, top with 1 cup mozzarella, cover, and cook 2 minutes until melted. Toast 4 frozen waffles. Spread extra marinara on the bottom waffle, place cheesy chicken on top, cap with the second waffle, and garnish with fresh basil.
  3. Combine 1.5 lbs chicken thighs, 1/2 cup barbecue sauce, 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar, 1 tbsp brown sugar, 1 tsp garlic powder, and 1 tsp onion powder in a slow cooker. Cook on low for 6 hours until chicken is tender. Shred chicken and mix with remaining barbecue sauce. Serve on toasted waffles with coleslaw mix and a drizzle of mayonnaise.
  4. In a skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter and add sliced onions. Cook until caramelized, about 10 minutes. Add brown sugar and Dijon mustard, stirring until combined. Layer deli ham and Swiss cheese on toasted waffles, top with caramelized onions, and serve.
  5. Form 1 lb ground beef into patties and season with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Cook in a skillet with vegetable oil until desired doneness. Assemble on waffles with American cheese, pickle relish, diced red onion, ketchup, and mustard.
