  • 1 tbsp heavy cream
  • 8 large jalapeño peppers
  • 16 oz cream cheese (softened to room temperature)
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup cooked bacon bits
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp onion powder
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs
  • for frying Vegetable or canola oil
  • 1 package frozen cheese ravioli ((16 oz))
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tbsp water
  • 1 1/2 cups Italian-seasoned breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • for frying Vegetable or canola oil
  • Marinara sauce
  • 1 packet active dry yeast ((2 ¼ tsp))
  • 1/2 cup warm milk ((110°F))
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter (melted)
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 cup fresh mozzarella balls ((bocconcini, cut in half))
  • for frying Vegetable oil
  • Powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt; beat egg with milk, vanilla, and 1/4 cup vegetable oil; combine wet and dry ingredients to form a thick batter; heat oil to 350°F (175°C); drop rounded tablespoons of batter into oil and fry for 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown; drain on a wire rack; microwave chocolate chips and heavy cream until smooth; drizzle over cooled donuts and let set for 10 minutes.
  2. Slice jalapeños lengthwise and remove seeds; mix cream cheese, cheddar, bacon, garlic powder, and onion powder; stuff peppers and refrigerate for 15 minutes; dredge in flour, dip in beaten eggs, and coat with panko breadcrumbs; heat oil to 350°F (175°C); fry in batches for 3-4 minutes until golden brown and crispy; drain on a wire rack and serve warm.
  3. Place flour, beaten eggs with water, and breadcrumbs mixed with Parmesan in separate dishes; toss frozen ravioli in flour, dip in egg wash, and roll in breadcrumb mixture; let rest for 5 minutes; heat oil to 350°F (175°C); fry in batches for 2-3 minutes until deep golden brown and floating; drain on a wire rack, sprinkle with sea salt, and serve immediately with marinara sauce.

Combine warm milk, sugar, and yeast until foamy; whisk egg and melted butter, add yeast mixture and flour, knead for 5-7 minutes; let dough rise for 1 hour; punch down, roll to 1/2-inch thickness, cut circles, place mozzarella halves inside, seal, and let rise for 30 minutes; heat oil to 350°F (175°C); fry for 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown; drain on a wire rack and dust with powdered sugar.
