Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
  2. Whisk together eggnog, rum extract, sugar, vanilla, eggs, and melted butter.
  3. Combine flour, baking powder, salt, and nutmeg in a separate bowl.
  4. Fold dry ingredients into wet ingredients until just combined; do not overmix.
  5. Bake for 50-60 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
  6. Cool completely on a wire rack before glazing.
  7. Whisk powdered sugar, eggnog, butter extract, and allspice to make glaze; pour over cooled bread.
