  • 4 cups cooked chicken breast (shredded or diced)
  • 1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup full-fat sour cream
  • 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 6 strips bacon (cooked and crumbled)
  • 30 ounces frozen tater tots
  • ½ cup finely diced yellow onion
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and black pepper (to taste)

Instructions

  1. Mix softened cream cheese, sour cream, cheddar cheese, onion, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  2. Combine the cheese mixture with shredded chicken and most of the crumbled bacon.
  3. Layer half the chicken mixture in a greased slow cooker, add frozen tater tots, then top with remaining chicken mixture.
  4. Cover and cook on Low for 4 to 5 hours until tots are tender and cheese is melted.
