  • 12 oz uncooked penne or rotini pasta
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp dried basil
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
  • Salt (to taste)
  • black pepper (to taste)
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Brown and crumble the sausage in a skillet, then transfer to the crockpot.
  2. Sauté onions and garlic in the same skillet, deglaze with broth, and add to crockpot.
  3. Stir in marinara, remaining broth, spices, and dry pasta; ensure pasta is submerged.
