- 1 medium yellow onion ((finely diced))
- 3 cloves garlic ((minced))
- 6 slices thick-cut bacon ((chopped))

- 1 cup heavy cream
- ½ cup chicken broth or vegetable broth
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon fresh dill ((finely chopped))
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

Instructions
- Sear the cabbage wedges cut-side down in a dry hot skillet until golden brown, then set aside.
- Cook chopped bacon in the same pan until crispy, remove bacon, and reserve fat.
- Sauté diced onion in bacon fat until soft, then add garlic and cook briefly.
- Deglaze with broth, add cream and mustard, and simmer until slightly thickened.
- Return cabbage to pan, cover, and braise until tender; finish with dill and bacon.
