  • 2 tbsp olive oil or butter
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • 1 cup provolone cheese ((shredded))
  • ½ cup marinara sauce
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley ((chopped))

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F. Hollow out the bread loaf, leaving a 1-inch shell.
  2. Sear the steak in batches in a hot skillet until browned, then set aside.
  3. Sauté onions and mushrooms until golden, then add garlic and seasonings.
  4. Combine steak, vegetables, marinara, and cheese in the skillet; remove from heat.
