- 1 pound ground beef (80/20 lean-to-fat ratio)
- 1 small yellow onion (finely diced)
- 1 tablespoon ketchup
- 1 teaspoon yellow mustard
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- 1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- Optional: Sesame seeds or poppy seeds
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Sauté ground beef and diced onion in a skillet over medium-high heat until browned and no pink remains; drain excess grease.
- Stir in ketchup, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, salt, and pepper; mix well and let cool slightly.
- Separate crescent dough into squares, place on the baking sheet, and spoon beef mixture onto each square.
- Top with shredded cheese, fold dough over, and seal; optionally brush with butter and add seeds.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown and internal temperature reaches 160°F.
- Cool for 5 minutes before serving.
