  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder

Instructions

  1. Activate the yeast in warm water with sugar, then mix in oil and salt. Add flour and knead until smooth.
  2. Let the dough rise in a greased bowl until doubled in size.
  3. Divide dough into 8 portions, flatten, stuff with cheese, seal tightly, and roll into logs.
  4. Let shaped breadsticks rise again for 20-30 minutes, then brush with egg wash.
  5. Bake at 375°F for 18-22 minutes until golden, then brush with garlic butter mixture.
