- 1 cup beef broth
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 teaspoon salt

Instructions
- Sear the beef in batches until deeply browned, then set aside.
- Sauté onions, garlic, and green peppers until softened.
- Deglaze with broth and return beef to pot; simmer covered for 1.5 hours.
- Add pears and tomato sauce; simmer for another 45-60 minutes until tender.
- Rest for 10 minutes, adjust seasoning, and serve hot.
