- 1 large round loaf of bread ((about 16 ounces))
- 2 cups cooked chicken breast ((shredded))
- 1 cup deli ham ((chopped into small cubes))
- 1.5 cups sharp cheddar cheese ((shredded))
- 0.5 cup cream cheese ((softened to room temperature))
- 0.25 cup mayonnaise
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley ((finely chopped))
- 1 tablespoon butter ((melted))
- Salt (to taste)
- Black pepper (to taste)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F. Hollow out the bread loaf, leaving a 1-inch shell, and brush the inside with melted butter.
- Mix cream cheese, mayonnaise, chicken, ham, cheese, spices, and parsley in a bowl. Adjust consistency with bread crumbs if needed.
- Stuff the mixture firmly into the bread loaf, replace the top, and wrap tightly in foil.
- Bake covered for 25 minutes, then unwrap, brush with remaining butter, and bake uncovered for 10-15 minutes until golden.
- Let rest for 10 minutes, garnish with parsley, and slice into wedges to serve.
