- 8 slices bacon (thick-cut)
- 4 large sesame seed buns (split)
- 4 slices cheese (American, Cheddar, or Provolone)
- 4 large lettuce leaves
- 1/3 cup mayonnaise (80ml)
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 teaspoon yellow mustard
- 1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon salt (divided)
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper (divided)
- 1 tablespoon butter
Instructions
- Mix mayonnaise, mustards, vinegar, spices, and salt in a bowl to make the sauce; refrigerate.
- Cook bacon in a skillet until crispy; drain and set aside.
- Form ground beef into four patties, indent centers, and season with salt and pepper.
- Sear patties in the skillet over medium-high heat for 3-4 minutes per side; add cheese and cover to melt.
- Toast buns, spread sauce on bottoms, layer lettuce, patty, and bacon, then serve.
