  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • 1 cup jarred salsa
  • 1 cup diced tomatoes
  • ½ cup sliced black olives
  • 4 cups shredded lettuce
  • 2 green onions (thinly sliced)
  • 1 ½ cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 bag tortilla chips (approx. 10–12 oz)

Instructions

  1. Brown the ground beef in a skillet, drain fat, and season with cumin, garlic powder, and chili powder. Set aside to cool slightly.
  2. Place tortilla chips in the bottom of a large glass trifle bowl or serving dish to form the base layer.
  3. Layer the seasoned beef over the chips, followed by diced tomatoes, black olives, and shredded lettuce.
  4. Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese over the lettuce.
  5. Top with sour cream and garnish with sliced green onions. Serve immediately.
