- 0.5 cup white chocolate chips (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl, cream together softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in vanilla extract and peppermint extract.
- Mix in green food coloring until desired shade is achieved.
- In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt; gradually combine with wet ingredients until a cohesive dough forms.
- Fold in crushed Oreos and white chocolate chips if using.
- Chill the dough in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes.
- Scoop tablespoons of dough onto the prepared baking sheet and bake for 9–11 minutes until edges are golden.
