- Whip cold heavy cream with vanilla and salt until soft peaks form; fold gently into mascarpone mixture.
- Layer half of the ice cream base in a freezer-safe dish, add half of the strawberry sauce, and swirl gently.
- Repeat with remaining ice cream and strawberry sauce; cover and freeze for at least 6 hours or overnight.
