  • 1 cup heavy cream

  • 2 cups fresh strawberries (hulled and sliced)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). In a bowl, mix flour and sugar. Cut in cold butter until crumbly. Gradually add ice water until dough forms.
  2. Roll out the dough on a floured surface to about 1/8 inch thick. Place it in a tart pan and trim excess dough.
  3. Bake the crust for 20 minutes or until golden brown; let cool completely.
  4. Whip heavy cream until soft peaks form, then add powdered sugar and whip until stiff peaks form.
  5. Dissolve agar-agar in warm water according to package instructions; fold into whipped cream.
  6. Fill the cooled crust with the creamy mixture and top with sliced strawberries. Refrigerate for at least one hour before serving.
