  • 1 cup All-Purpose Flour (unbleached)
  • ½ tsp Baking Soda
  • ½ tsp Salt
  • ¾ cup Brown Sugar, packed
  • ¼ cup Granulated Sugar
  • ½ cup (1 stick) Unsalted Butter, softened
  • 1 Large Egg
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
  • ¾ cup Raisins

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease or line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  • In a medium bowl, whisk together oats, flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
  • In a large bowl, cream together softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  • Beat in the egg and vanilla extract until well combined.
  • Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing until just combined.
  • Fold in the raisins.
  • Press the dough evenly into the prepared baking pan.
  • Bake for 22–25 minutes or until golden brown and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  • Let cool completely before cutting into bars.
