- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice
- 1 cup powdered sugar (for icing)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (glass/dark metal) or 375°F (light metal). Grease a 13×9-inch baking pan.
- In a mixing bowl, combine granulated sugar, flour, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon. Add cold butter cubes and mix until crumbly.
- Press two-thirds of the mixture into the prepared pan as the base layer.
- In another bowl, mix beaten egg, granulated sugar, cornstarch, diced peaches, and lemon juice. Spread over the base layer.
