Instructions

  2. In a mixing bowl, combine granulated sugar, flour, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon. Add cold butter cubes and mix until crumbly.
  3. Press two-thirds of the mixture into the prepared pan as the base layer.
  4. In another bowl, mix beaten egg, granulated sugar, cornstarch, diced peaches, and lemon juice. Spread over the base layer.
  5. Sprinkle remaining crumb mixture on top.
  6. Bake for about 45 minutes until golden brown. Allow to cool before icing.
