Description

Chicken Parmesan Gnocchi Skillet is a quick and delightful one-pan meal that combines tender chicken breasts with pillowy gnocchi in a rich, savory marinara sauce. Topped with gooey mozzarella and freshly grated parmesan, this dish brings the comforting flavors of Italian cuisine to your dinner table in under 30 minutes. Perfect for busy weeknights or impressing guests, it’s like a warm hug on a plate that everyone will love!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 1 lb)
  • 1 lb store-bought gnocchi
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 8 oz fresh mozzarella cheese, diced
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tsp olive oil
  • 2 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Season chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and cook the chicken for 6-7 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through. Remove from skillet and slice into bite-sized pieces.
  2. In the same skillet, add gnocchi and cook according to package instructions (fresh gnocchi should float when done).
  3. Pour in marinara sauce, stirring to coat the gnocchi; simmer for about 5 minutes.
  4. Return sliced chicken to the skillet and add diced mozzarella. Cover with a lid and let simmer until cheese melts (about 3 minutes).
  5. Sprinkle grated Parmesan before serving.
