  • ½ cup heavy cream

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F and grease your baking pan.
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. Add egg, vanilla extract, milk, and vegetable oil; mix until smooth.
  4. Gradually stir in hot coffee until well combined.
  5. Pour batter into the prepared pan and bake for about 25 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  6. Cool the cake before preparing the kataifi filling by toasting it with butter until golden brown.
  7. Mix toasted kataifi with pistachio cream and set aside.
  8. For the ganache, microwave chopped chocolate and heavy cream until smooth.
  9. Assemble by spreading the kataifi mixture over the cooled cake and pouring ganache on top.
