  • ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (plus more for garnish)
  • 1 teaspoon salt (for boiling water)
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, finely chopped

Instructions

  1. Season sliced chicken breasts with a mix of smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet and sear the chicken until golden brown and cooked through; set aside.
  3. Cook linguine pasta in salted boiling water until al dente; reserve pasta water before draining.
  4. In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat and sauté minced garlic until fragrant. Stir in Dijon mustard, lemon juice, red pepper flakes, Italian seasoning, and parsley; simmer briefly.
  5. Add cooked pasta to the skillet and toss to coat in sauce. If needed, add reserved pasta water for desired consistency. Return chicken to the pan and combine well.
