Ingredients
- 1 lb Brussels sprouts (shredded)

- 3 Tbsp apple cider vinegar (or lemon juice)
- 1 Tbsp mustard (brown or dijon)
- 1 1/2 tbsp date paste (or syrup, or pure maple syrup or honey)
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 cup light olive oil (or avocado oil)
- Sea salt and black pepper to taste
Instructions
- Cook turkey bacon in a large skillet over medium-high heat until crispy. Remove and drain on paper towels.
- In a bowl, mix shredded Brussels sprouts with chopped apple and crispy bacon.
- In the same skillet, toast hazelnuts until fragrant. Add to the salad mixture.
- For the dressing, blend together apple juice, vinegar, mustard, date paste, cinnamon, onion powder, olive oil; season with salt and pepper.
- Toss half the dressing with the salad before serving; reserve the rest for drizzling.
