- 1 tbsp cornstarch

Instructions
- Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F).
- Peel and thinly slice apples; mix with 150 g sugar and salt. Let macerate for 15 minutes.
- Bake apple mixture in a dish for about 40 minutes until tender.
- In a saucepan, heat milk with 50 g sugar and salt until just boiling.
- Whisk egg yolks and cornstarch; temper with hot milk. Cook until thickened.
- In a serving dish, layer half of the baked apples, followed by half of the custard. Repeat layers.
- Chill in the refrigerator for at least two hours before serving.
